17.01.2020 in Bluepharma

The Contract Signing Ceremony took place this Friday, January 17th, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On 17 January 2020, Bluepharma participated in the Signing Ceremony for Investment Tax Contracts, which was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended by he Prime Minister, António Costa, the Minister of State for Economy and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira, and the Secretary of State for Internationalization, Eurico Brilhante Dias.

During the ceremony, which was attended by the President of Bluepharma, Paulo Barradas Rebelo, the financial incentive for an investment of more than 46 million euros was formally contracted.

This project, called "Bluepharma Acelera 2030", foresees the expansion of the current facilities in São Martinho do Bispo and the construction of a new unit in Eiras, which will be completed in 2021. In this way, it will be possible to internalise the results of "in-house" R&D activities through the commercial production of new, more complex and sophisticated products with a greater degree of innovation and replace paper with digital information tools and foster the increase of their exports.

The investments described above are determinant for the growth that we seek to achieve over the next few years and will allow Bluepharma to strengthen its position as a key player in the national and international pharmaceutical Industry.
